Tree Services Across Lake Charles & Calcasieu Parish

Southwest Louisiana trees grow fast, storm hard, and fail without warning — and every service below is built around that reality. Hurricane-season prep, beetle-killed pine takedowns, and storm response, all under one local crew.

All services

Tree Removal

How we decide between a straight fell and a sectioned takedown, what we check before a cut near a roof or line, and what cleanup includes.

Tree Trimming & Pruning

Which cuts reduce wind load before storm season, why topping backfires on live oaks and pines, and how often a Calcasieu yard tree usually needs attention.

Stump Grinding

Grinding depth, what happens to the chips, how we protect irrigation and fences, and why pairing it with a removal visit saves a trip.

Emergency Storm Tree Removal

What to do first when a tree is on the house, how we triage calls after a named storm, and the photos your insurer will ask for.

Pine Tree Removal

Signs of southern pine beetle and lightning damage, why dead pines get brittle fast, and how we drop tall pines in tight yards.

Land Clearing

Selective versus full clearing, what to flag before the equipment shows up, and the mulch-or-haul choice for the cleared material.

Tree Cabling & Bracing

When a split fork can be supported with hardware, when it cannot, and what an inspection schedule after install looks like.

Debris Haul-Off

How volume is estimated, what parish curbside pickup will and will not take, and when chipping on site makes more sense than hauling.

Arborist Consultation

What a written assessment covers — species, defects, risk to targets — and when it is worth getting one before any removal.

Tree Planting

Species that tend to stand up to Gulf wind and wet soils, spacing from the house, and planting depth mistakes that shorten a tree's life.

Brush Chipping & Mulching

How chipped material can be used on your own beds, how thick to spread it, and why fresh chips should stay off the trunk flare.

Root Pruning

When cutting roots is reasonable, how much a tree can usually lose, and why we call 811 before any trenching.

Lot Clearing for New Construction

Sequencing with your builder, protecting keeper trees inside the drip line, and getting stumps out before forms go in.

Hedge & Shrub Removal

Pulling overgrown hedges and shrubs by the root ball, regrowth from privet and ligustrum, and what to plant in the gap.

Commercial Tree Service

Site walks for retail, industrial, and HOA properties, certificates of insurance, and scheduling work around business hours.

How We Scope a Job

Every estimate starts with a walk-around, not a phone guess. We look at lean, root plate, canopy density, soil saturation, targets (roof, fence, power line, pool), and — for pines — bark and needle condition. You get a written quote with the work spelled out, and the number we quote is the number you pay unless the scope changes and you sign off on it first.

🌲 Pine country note: if a pine on your property has faded from green to yellow to rust-red, or you see popcorn-sized pitch tubes on the bark, it may be southern pine beetle. That tree is a clock. Call us — beetle-killed pines are brittle, unpredictable, and get more dangerous the longer they stand. See our pine removal page.
